In a game that came down to the last play, Alan S earns this week's Player of the Week award for his great performance on both sides of the ball, including swatting away a pass that lead to a game-saving INT on the last play of the game. Alan caught a TD, had numerous flag grabs, and the clutch move at the end of the game. With seconds left on the clock and the opponent needing a score to secure the victory, Alan swatted a well thrown pass out of the air into the arms of his teammate, who downed the ball in the endzone for a well-earned tie. Well-earned tie? Yes, I said that correct, as both teams played incredibly well in the first game of the season, and both teams seemed pleased with the result, knowing they had left it all on the field and given it their all. Congrats to Alan, and this looks like it'll be a great season.
