There have been many USL Beach Volleyball teams that have carried the name Sets on the Beach, but this version is the first to carry that name to a championship. They did it thanks in large part to team captain Jim Nguy. Jim led a coordinated effort keeping his teammates motivated, and hungry for the championship, and that effort paid off as they breezed by in the championship match by a 2-0 margin.
