Player of the week this week goes to short stop Tam Nguyen of Ground Rule Trouble. Week after week his play at short stop has been a beauty to behold. He does not shy away from anything hit at him which usually means if you hit it his way you are usually going to be out. Whether it's a laser shot right at him or a deep pop up right outside the infield his shagging is very impressive.
Scott Marti's peformance on the pitching rubber was a sight to behold. He showed great consistency and accuracy while delivering one of the most beatifully pitched games that I have ever seen. He was very instrumental in the later innings when GRT needed stops and outs. He also batted like a batting machine sending power shot after power shot through the defense scoring run after run. Scott certainly helped his own cause on the mound with an outstanding batting performance.
