On a night where the rain was so heavy, visibility was an issue at times, you could have mistaken JJ McCarthy for JJ Watt. McCarthy had 7 sacks for Gold Tops, which made all of the difference in a 40-34 victory.
Matt came up huge for his team on Thursday, picking up two touchdowns to keep his team within striking distance the whole game. His biggest accomplishment of the night came with no time left on the clock though. After his team came within one on the last play of regulation, his team decided to go bold and go for the win. On that bold play, Matt came up with the two-pointer and a huge win for the Gold Tops.
