In the game of the day and the matchup of the millennium Spencer proved that its not how you start its how you finish, knocking in the game winning runs in the Bottom of the 7th inning in a 17-17 see-saw affair that saw a zillion lead changes and has critics and journalists referring to the game as an Instant Classic. Spencer played huge throughout the game, but it was the rope he hit to left field that proved to be the game winner and lead to the walk-off celebration. Nice going Spencer!
