Zach, a man known (in the right circles) as "Zeechmo" had it going on at the course on this fine evening!
As I was standing, doing some socializing of sorts, Zeechmo steps up to the box, lines up his ball...and doesn't get the vibe. You need the vibe, that feeling, that je ne sais quoi, and when he realigned his ball, he had it. he brought the back swing back, timed it perfectly, got that nice smack sound out of the ball and it went! Oh did that ball go; it ricocheted, over a light curve, a bounce off a loose brick, and then it crept...slowly making it's way to that money hole!!
Some people like to believe it is in the putter, I think it might be the nickname..I mean how can you not rock it with a name like Zeechmo?!?
Honorable mention this week to Michael of Nice Shoes, Wanna Putt? who attributes all his success to the putter... "Blame it on the Callaway" he says when interviewed about his success on the course. Humble and awesome! A hard competition it was!
