The Snow Dragons came ready to play on Sunday and got it going early in the top of the first inning. With a couple runners on base, a rocket was launched to the outfield getting past all the defenders for a 3-run homerun. This was followed by an RKI triple and with a couple more singles it was a quick 6-0 lead. Their defense was solid as well, limiting base runners with great bunt coverage and a critical 4th inning double play with bases loaded that really deflated the opposition who seemed poised for a big inning at that point. With another 3-run homer in the 6th to put the game out of reach, The Alaska Snow Dragons--Part Deux earned their first championship and did it with style.
