Caitlin earns this week's Player of the Week award for crushing 2 home runs and having numerous amazing catches out in the outfield during her team's semifinal and championship games. Her team came up a little short in the final, but Caitlin really was the star of the day!
B.A.M.F. and Young Gunz battled back and forth for 4 innings. Heading into the 5th it was 4 to 4, then Young Gunz busted it open with 9 runs in the top of the 5th, lead by a big home run by Scott Sandvig, one of his 4 homeruns on the night. Gunz continued to pour it on to pull away and win 28-8.
Well, if I had to say one thing about this team, it is that they are for real. The real deal like Evander Holyfield. Seeing these guys and gals get after it on Thursday night was a sight to behold. With Back to back innings of 10 runs, the Young Gunz have proven why they are the team to beat in this new league. Led by Kelly Bate's hot bat and Gold Glove performance, this team is looking to take on all comers who are looking for a bat fight and are very serious about taking home a league title. Please bring your A game when you face this team, otherwise it's going to be a very long night for you. Great game Kelly and great win Young Gunz!
