This was "Red Machine's" 5th year in the league, and before this year, the championship had always eluded them. But not this year! When "Red Machine" showed up to play on Sunday, they appeared confident that the championship would be theirs in just a few short hours. Their first game was a close one, but thanks to a huge home run by Ryan Dawson, they were able to take home the victory. They used that momentum to score a whopping 25 runs in the championship game, and take home the title! Congratulations "Red Machine!"
In the final game of the day, going in to the fourth inning "Red Machine" was down by two. Red Machine came out swinging and scored seven runs in back to back innings while holding the other team to a combined 5 to take the victory!
