The championship game was back and forth defensive battle with both teams not giving an inch. By the third inning the score was 2 to 2 and looked to be a pitching battle, with the defenses giving no extra bases. In the top of the 6th Rounding third was able to rally and get 6 runs to cross the plate. Aroma was not able to counter in the bottom of the 6th or the 7th as there bats kept finding the gloves of the opponents. In a great game Rounding third won the championship by 7 runs, and bragging rights for a year. Both teams had a great season, and made for a great chipper. Underdevelopements and Golden Sombreros agreed they were both worthy of the third place title and agreed they would share the honor together with a tie for third! Great job to all teams for a great season.
When Rounding Third was down 7-2 in the 6th Mandy Started an 8 run rally with a strong double to the gap in right field. Her composure at the plate helped Rounding Third win both of their games this week. Good game Mandy.
