After a solid regular season and a dominating defensive performance in the their semi-final, Purple Rain showed off their offensive prowess in the championship game against the top seeded Hawaiian Bunts. The First inning, no runs were score, but the second and third were a different story. Purple Rain got two 8 run inning ins the second and third innings to put the game out of reach, as they cruised in the final four innings to a comfortable 17 to 8 over the talented Hawaiian Bunts! Congratulations Purple Rain!!!
Lisa F earns this week's Player of the Week award for her amazing prowess on defense. Every ball kicked to her in right, she made an amazing play on. You could tell kickers were trying to avoid her by the end of the game as they lifted lazy pop flies to the infield trying to change the way they kicked. Lisa had that much of an impact on the game!
