In a close game that was back and forth the entire way, Brent Adkins caught 2 TD passes to lead Baby Makers Mark to a 27-26 win over the Green Bowl Packers. Arguably, the most important play of the game was a spectacular catch in the the End Zone by Adkins. It changed the momentum of the game in favor of Baby Makers Mark and enabled them to hold off the late charge by the Packers. Adkins, never one to show bravado (yea right?) hauled in the high pass and came crashing to the end zone turf, but was able to somehow hang on to the rock. An impressive show of athleticism. Great work Brent! But it begs the question, will he be able to continue to show it the rest of the season? There are skeptics out there, but this reporter isn't one of them.
