3 pins. What are 3 pins when it comes to bowling? In the grand scheme- not much, maybe. On Sunday night, however, 3 pins changed the entire dynamic of the final four in the most closely contested BTB Championship in Underdog history!

Things were tight from the start as Smokin' Bowls faced Character Limit and Aober Sthletics matched up with Minds In The Gutter in the semifinals. Minds In The Gutter edged out Aoeber Sthletics in their match by 6 pins 524-518, a blowout by the standard of what was about to happen.
Early favorites Smokin' Bowls were having trouble shaking the upstart Character Limit. when the smoke cleared on 10 frames of intense bowling, the score was... 493- 493. BOWL OFF!!! Perhaps, it was the pressure of the do or die moment as Character Limit pulled off the upset 9-7 on the final sudden death one roll bowl-off.

But the drama was not nearly done. While Aober Sthletics made quick work of a stunned Smokin Bowls for a respectable third place, things were heating up in the Championship between Minds In The Gutter and Character Limit. As we neared the end with a winner still unclear, Dan from Character Limit earned the good sportsmanship award, and simultaneously sealed his team's fate. Dan pointed out a computer scoring error that gave him an extra pin in one of his last frames. No big deal. What difference could it really make?
The two teams erupted as the final score was read aloud: Minds In The Gutter- 491 pins to Character Limit- 490 pins! Dan's honesty affected the final score- Minds In The Gutter were champs by one pin! WOW! Hold on.... WOOOOOW!!!
