In the first round we had some sharp competition, with the highly skilled Poppycocks coming in for the win to defend their season long lead. The Turkey Basters with their sparkly patches put up a strong fight but alas matey, the Poppycocks advanced to play against Team Awesome!!! who made it to the championship round with gusto and excitement after they took down the mighty Turduckenballs.
In the Championship game, Poppycocks demanded only the best from Team Awesome!!! all decked out in red - to display their fierce fire for the fight. Mike lead his team Awesome!!! with a solid 205 bringing the lead against the Poppycocks but they answered back with their ladies pulling in a 191, well done Megan and a 168, solid finish Leila.
In the end it came down to 5 pins. Only 5 pins! Team Awesome!!! was declared the champions and in the words on one Turducken "this is how it should be, they beat us, so it is only acceptable for them to take it all."
