Kirkland Crossfit completed an unlikely run to the Championship of the Midcore 2 tourney with a 34-19 win over Just Go Deep. Crossfit looked to be eliminated at halftime of their semifinal game against Show Me Your TD's, down by 21, but rallied in the 2nd half to win that game 31-28. They then utilized a patient offense to cruise to the title. Walt Winter was a force in the middle of the field, catching key passes and scoring 2 touchdowns as they built a lead on Just Go Deep. Just Go Deep tried to rally in the 2nd half, but were unable to get the key defensive stops when needed. It was a great run by Kirkland Crossfit through the playoffs. Congratulations on their first Underdog Championship.
