Sunday night at Ballard Playfields saved the best for last, with two nail-biters to end the night. Team RAMROD and We've Got The Runs capped off the night with a game that started out with tough D on both sides, but turned into a slugfest by the end. Few runs were scored in the first half of the game, and Diana Jorris made what looked like every play over at 2nd base. Team RAMROD looked like they were pulling away in the end, but the Runs just refused to lose, mounting a huge rally in the bottom of the last inning. with the bases loaded in a tie game, Joe Buchholz took over. Joe lined a ball to the outskirts of the infield that was just a little too hot for the defense to handle, as they missed a play at third, and allowed The Runs to score the walk-off run. Woot woot.
