The crowd was baited with anticipation as Josh had just thrown his 8th strike in a row! We were all pumped and were whispering about how that guy on lane 22 was about to throw a 9th strike. Much to our dismay the whispers created the oil on the lane to dry up and the ball failed to break landing itself a few inches away from the pocket that had been treating Josh so well. As we have it Josh ended the first game with a 256, 8 strikes in a row, all frames (with the exception of that pesky 9th) closed and about 48 cheering teammates at Imperial Bowl!! Well done Josh!!
Shout out to the Hoidenz as a opponent commented on the spirit. She said "this team (Hoidenz) is awesome! They got the spirit, the yelling and a special high five.... we've got to work on this". Nice spirit ladies!!
