On Sunday, Marshall Law finished it's run to a second championship as they beat 3 higher seeded teams over a two week stretch. They started out in week one with the 4th seeded "Boot to the Head". It was a close game the whole time, but they were led by Ryan Abeo's defense as they held on to a slim 2 run lead and the first round victory.
They then went up against the top seeded Pretty Young Things. Captain Mike Hilfer continued the defensive theme for the team in this one as he showed that even in an offensive shootout, defense matters. They needed that little extra push as they held on to win by 3 runs.
In week number two in the championship game, Marshall Law showed they had more playoff experience and seasoning as the beat Pitch Please! for their 2nd championship in a year.
