Thursday night kicked off a fresh new season of Drinks on the Links, and with that came some fresh new faces. Teams came from far and wide to enjoy some frosty refreshments, some putt-putt, some tunes, and some friendly competition. But one newcomer made her presence felt above all others.
Julia Harding strutted into the clubhouse, flexed her muscles, and shouted: "Anyone know a good vet? Cuz these pythons are SICK!" - She then shotgunned a beer, downed a double shot of pure Tabasco sauce, and went out on the course to kick ass and chew bubblegum. Unfortunately for her competition, she had no bubblegum. (*)
Here's to you, Julia! Congrats on scoring a league-high 71, we'll all watch to see if you can get to 72 next week!
Uh, wait - I've just been handed a note... Really? LOW scores are good? Well that's dumb. What kind of sport is this anyway? Regardless, Julia is my personal Underdog Hero of the Week!
