Winter Gentlemen's Flag Football at Seattle Center Saturdays

A close and hard fought game throughout. Each team ran a very successful hurry-up offense, employing quick snaps, quick passes, and the occasional long ball. Gamecocks jumped out to an early two score lead, which Chuck and Friends quickly matched creating a tied ball game at the half. In the second half whenever Chuck and Friends would score, Gamecocks would answer. Once again creating a tied score for the next three possessions. Gamecocks finally broke the tie by converting and extra point to gain a one point lead with three minutes to play. Chuck and Friends responded by immediately launching one downfield, creating first and goal, which they then proceeded to take all the way to fourth down before finally connecting on a 1 yard pass after the two previous runs had failed. Back on defense with under 1:30 to play, Eric made the best play of the day, coming down with an INT and allowing his team to kneel it out for victory. A very exciting and fast paced championship game, congratulations on the win!

Chuck and Friends

In a championship game where the score became tied four separate times in the second half, somebody needed to step up and make a play, that somebody was Eric. With his team finally leading with just under two minutes to play, Eric came down with a huge interception, allowing his team to run out the clock for victory. Not only was it the first and only interception of the game, it was also the game winning interception. Congratulations on the win and way to play.

We all know Kurt has an arm and all but today he showed more. He passes all over the field and ran when he could. Even after a second tiresome game he managed to impress us all. Great game!

Chuck and Friends

Chuck channeled his inner Michael Bennett and helped his team win their first game of the year. His constant pressure on the QB from his rushing position made a huge difference for his teams defense. Indy's QB was constantly scrambling and Chuck effected even the simplest of the throws. Chuck finished the game with two sacks, too many QB hurries to count and one TD. Nice work Chuck!
