The Fresh Kicks of Ball-Air dramatically seized the Denny Park Kickball Title this Wednesday, shutting out their opponents. Through well-placed bunts that loaded baserunners for their power kickers to drive home, Fresh Kicks consistently put up offense. Defensively, they nary dropped a ball, recording some impressive long outs in the process (including a clutch, inning-ending double play assist from the outfield!). There can be no doubt as to the best team in the league, Fresh Kicks of Ball-Air. Congratulations!
In his championship game at Denny Park, Peter Scholsser was flawless, pitching a shutout against his opponents. Cleanly fielding balls all night, Peter was the unequivocal leader of his team. Congratulations on the excellent play!
Theo led the way on offense for Fresh Kicks in a impressive win. Twice he came up with runners in scoring position, and he delivered both times with solid base hits down the left field line.
The Fresh Kicks of Ball-Air had a dominanting performance and easily got the win in this game. Their team was a well oiled machine and on offense and defense they could do no wrong. The person who had the best performance was Maya. With multiple kicks that resulted with Maya getting on base she also had an incredible over the shoulder catch in center field! Looking like Willie Mays himself with this catch Maya sealed herself Player of the Week honors.
This week at Denny Park, Jordan had two noteworthy plays that cemented his team's impressive win. For one, he barely got his forearm around a shallow fly ball in the outfield to make an impressive catch. On the other side of the plate, Jordan kicked the game's only home run, easily clearing the left field fence. For his all around great game, Jordan is our player of the week. Congrats!
