The Wrecking Crew won their second straight softball championship in a rout, winning 19-1. The win marks their second straight unefeated season. We suspect that Ryan Godfrey is really Jenny Finch in camoflauge.
The Statdog loves pitching and defense, and so when he sees Ryan Godfrey hold the offensive powerhouse West Coast Playaz to only one run the Statdog says "Ryan Godfrey?" Yes, the man of the .252 fielding percentage and an ERA of 21.54 pulled it together to pitch a near shutout in the championship game. When asked why she started a man with a 21.54 ERA in the championship game, captain Kelly Madigan answered, "He was crying and this was the only way to make him stop." Ryan must have realized his contract was up so it was time for him to produce.
With his fan club in the stands, Jeff put on a show hitting the ball all over the field. After his second hit, the crowd even started the wave. Must be that Mariners fever.
