Summer Softcore Kickball in Fremont Mondays/Tuesdays

Following a superb display of technical kickball prowess, Ballz Deep are champions! It was a tightly contested match between them and Sir Kicks A Lot, with many lead changes throughout the game. Ultimately, Ballz Deep limited their mistakes and employed well-timed kicks in order to seal the win. Congratulations to the champions!

Championship week - no better time to hit a home run! And what a shot it was - it went so far that all the runners on base, and the 3rd base coach, all came home! It was the first ever 5-run home run. Way to go, Justin!

Danny was a fire plug with his game as well as his voice. He didn't allow the banter between him and the umpire to knock him off his game. Danny was a force at the plate and in the field. He made a heads up play at 3rd to throw out a runner who would have been the go ahead run in the top of the 6th inning. following up that play in the bottom of the 6th inning, Danny scored the game winning run with aggressive base running after roping a single earlier in the inning. Clinging to a 1 run lead, Danny made the final put out to secure the playoff victory.

Danny G wins this week's Player of the Week award for providing an offensive spark, leading his team to victory. Whenever Danny is out there, the magic happens. Whether it's on the base paths or on defense, he's a handful to deal with and the way he leads his team makes you think they are the frontrunners for the championship this season.

Jodie had a great day at the park today. She played great defense in the field and also had a good day offensively. She had threw hits on her second game and scored a couple runs. There was a play at the plate that she made a great slide in but was called out. She disagreed with the call but did it very respectfully and calmly. Jodie's team won both games today which is very hard to do and she was a big reason why.

Anna "too hot" Lamore gets player of the week for her amazing defensive play. With here team holding on to a 7-4 lead In the seventh inning against New Kicks on the Block, Anna tracked down a ball tailing away from her in foul territory and made an amazing catch. What made it even more impressive was that is was the first fly ball of the game to her position in right field, but she made the catch look easy. Nice work Anna!!!
