After securing a 1 run win in the semi finals, Edelman came to play against Placed Battribution, clashing in an amazing game in the heat. With the score close the entire game, Placed Battribution fought to tie the game up in the last inning, but that left room for a Tyler Yee freedom-shot to right field to win the championship in walk-off fashion. What a great season and playoff run made by both teams!
With a solo, walk off homerun in the bottom of the 7th inning, Tyler Yee won the Championship for host Edelman squad, while earning player of the week.
Noah has earned Player of the Week through one single, extraordinary play. He laid it all on the line going after a line drive off the bat of Sons of Pitches, leaping instantly to his left and getting the full extension necessary to put leather over ball, before riding it to the ground to secure the catch. The athleticism displayed was applauded by teammate and opponent alike. A major league play deserving and receiving a major league award.
Edelman is definitely in the house and they are looking stronger than ever. Led by Christian Delgado's hot bat and some very delicious pitching, they dropped 6 large on 7th Inning Flex in the top half of the 5th. The defense got tighter with no holes for a ball to fall into and held on late to secure the much needed victory. Great game, great win and congratulations Christian for an outstanding night at the plate.
