The Itty Bitty Ditty Committee played great as a team throughout the game as they defeated Urban Urban Urban, but Kevin Michael stood out as a major reason of their dominance. After allowing one run in the top of the 1st, Kevin pitched 5 straight shutout innings. Even more impressively, he managed to pitch a couple 1-2-3 innings along the way. Although Urban Urban Urban was able to score 2 runs in the top of the 7th, Kevin quickly squashed the rally to seal the win for his team.
"Lay Out!" A common refrain in Kickball games, usually in jest towards a teammate who did not give their all for the ball. Leah showed today that she will never be the subject of such a joke, as she courageously dove head first to secure a catch. Nice play, POTW!
Dana lead her team to a solid victory this week. She was flawless in her pitching and was an absolute speed demon on the base path. Excellent way for a captain to lead her team through example to a hard fought victory over worthy opponents.
