Kari had a great day at the park this weekend. Having recently gotten a new nickname she made quick work to live up to it. In the 5th inning of a close game she was involved in 3 straight outs at the plate with the bases loaded. Kari had a force out, a tag out, and caught a pop up to make sure no runs crossed the plate and to help protect the lead for Glass By Lund. Without Kari's defense the game may have ended up very differently.
Brett left it all on the field Sunday afternoon, going on a total rampage and destroying opposing pitching, and then getting on the mound and crushing it there as well.
He left the field with 3 home runs of the "stop play on the other field" variety and followed it with a triple for good measure. It was truly a monumental performance and well worth player of the week.
