Thank you, come again turned on the afterburners in the 2nd half and blew open a close game to defeat Just Go Deep, winning the Midcore 2 Championship at Jaunita High School.
TYCA quarterback, Camel, found his go-to receiver, James Archer for 3 TD's and a PAT to lead the way. He also added 3 TD passes to speedster Faruk Punjami.
In the first half, the game started with "punches and counter punches" by both sides. Thank You drew first blood on a nice seem route from "Camel" to Archer. After an interception, Camel hit Archer again in the end zone to take a 13-0 lead. But Just Go Deep was undeterred, they managed to score on a pass to Denny Arnold and another to Derk Wipperecht to close the gap to 13-12. The teams then traded scores to close out the 1st half, TYCA's to Arnold (his 3rd of the game) and Just Go Deep's to Nate Smith.
In the 2nd half, Thank You, Come Again was able to put the defensive clamps on Just Go Deep, intercepting 3 passes, ending potential scoring drives. Meanwhile, the offense found their groove, as Camel hit a new "favorite receiver", Faruk Punjami for 3 TD's putting the game out of reach. Just Go Deep tried to mount a late comeback, scoring on a pass play to Steve Pearson, but it was too little, too late.
It was a great playoff run for both teams, each taking out higher seeds in the semi final's. Just Go Deep winning a thriller over The Exterminators, 27-26 and Thank You Come Again beating the Adjusters, 40-19.

The championship week POTW is James Archer. James caught 3 TD passes and had an interception leading Thank you, Come Again to unlikely Championship win over Just Go Deep. Great Game, James!
