Unnecessarily Rough Sets & Morning Missiles were both fired up for their championship match. After each having a good run in the regular season they came face to face to see who would be crowned top dog. The first two games were split one and one with many great hits, serves and digs. Each team got their fare share of licks and proved they belonged in the finals match. Game three was a serving streak match that went back and forth. One team would get up 5 or 6 points and then the other would come right back to make it a close game. The game ended at 26-24 with Morning Missiles coming through in the end to claim their first midcore champion title.
With a game that was back and forth, strong serving was much needed and that is what Sarah brought to the table for her team. Her serves left her opponents scrambling and often helped her team gain a lead of at least 3 points.
