This seasons playoffs were some of the best match-ups I have seen all season. With points back and forth and bodies on the floor it was a toss up for who would make it to the finals. Volley Balla's were playing with 5 and were maniacs when it came to covering the court. They went to three games in the semi-finals to advance. Gratuitous sets and violence came into playoffs looking to come from behind after an ok season. They showed that they were a threat and won in two games to advance from the semi-finals. The finals were no different than semis in intensity, it was like neither team had just played a match prior. Their energy was high and played each rally like it was their last. Troy from Volley Balla's had several insane dives saving the ball from the ground and gaining a point in the same play. He always seemed to be in the right place at the right time giving Gratuitous sets and violence some trouble. Gratuitous sets and violence put up a fight and took the Volley Balla's to three games with some great hits and some amazing digs but were not able to overtake them. Volley Balla's worked hard for their title of champion. Congratulations!
Troy was the Volley Balla's go to man for crazy saves and redirects. If it was just sticking out an arm or throwing his body onto the ground Troy was there saving the ball and helping his team win the championship. Great work Troy.
This gal had a great game last night! She hustled everywhere and kept the ball in play like a champ! With her help, the team pulled out a tough 2-1 win over Bumps and Balls. What a rockstar!
Volley balla's worked like a well oiled machine tonight with only 5 players and Renee was an intricate part. She was an ace on her serves, a star passer and a power house with her swings. Renee kept her team high on points and high on spirits as well.
