Katie had an excellent night for CPL on Tuesday, with timely hitting and good hustle all over the field. She really shined on defense, however, guarding second base with tact and skill and coming up with some big plays over the course of the game, to the awe of teammates and spectators alike. In a tight game against the Puppy Ticklers, Katie's determination helped seal the win.
Jean-Luc Jackson of CPL is the player of the week this week for his dominating pitching performance on Tuesday. In a game where runs were at a premium, Jean-Luc helped keep it that way, never allowing more than 3 runs in an inning and even keeping Scott's Tots of the board a few times. His pitching led to quick and relatively simple hits for his defense to contend with, and really set up CPL for the win.
