Congrats to Bryan Absher for being this week's Player of the Week! After captaining his team through 14 innings over 2 games in a double header, the team came out with 2 consecutive victories. His pitching performance proved to be the difference. The Kitties' offense gave him some breathing room the whole day for an all around team effort.
No one needed to wait for Mardi Gras for this team to show off their kitties. But I’ll bet Bourbon Street would have plenty of beads for Mr. Joseph Pete if they saw his performance last night. Although he started off with a strikeout, Joseph recorded 3 more hits in the game and initiated a triple play last night. This grueling, 10 inning game came down to the wire, so there's no doubt that his performance carried this feline friendly team to victory.
