Wednesday night’s championship game between Big Cat and Ballz Deep was incredibly intense as both teams played their best and forced the game into overtime. In the bottom of the 9th, Big Cat was able to capture victory and are the champions of Mondays/Wednesdays at Ravenna! Aaron was selected as player of the game after kicking a monster inside-the-park HR early in the game and keeping Big Cat’s hope of victory alive. Thanks to all the teams that played this season and congrats to Big Cat!
In a battle between two competitive teams, Aaron’s excellent offensive play and base running gave Big Cat the slight edge they needed to win the game. Pitchers beware, Aaron’s a threat that shouldn’t be underestimated.
They say that defense wins games, and Betsy proved that on Wednesday night with her great defensive play that helped Big Cat get the W. There were no pop-flys that Betsy couldn’t catch and her quick throwing arm earned her several assisted outs.
