Lauren brought her 'A' game for playoff kickball--2 games total in 90+ degree heat and she did not wilt at all. Lauren reached base in every at bat for both games and did not miss a play on D with a stellar performance at first base. In game 2, she made multiple amazing catches and was part of a key double play with bases loaded to end a potential rally. Offensively, she had a run scored in the 1st to start it off but the big kick came in the 7th--a run scoring single to give SOI til we die the lead and eventually the big upset victory.
Cho absolutely killed it in his first kickball game of the season. This guy went 4-4 with every boot almost hitting the fence. And on one of those kicks he managed to accomplish the ultimate play in kickball. The in the park grand slam. Everyone went nuts after that and it was a big deal because that swung the game in his teams favor. They had been down the previous 4 innings until that monster of a kick. They managed to hold onto their lead and come out on top. Congrats on the awesome game and receiving player of the week Cho. Keep Killin It!
