Doubleheaders might drain on some players, but Amanda Carlo thrived on this Monday night in Wedgewood. Batting third in the lineup, Amanda was undefeated on the night, going a combined 9-9 through both games while knocking in 9 runs. Her undefeated night at the plate was matched by her defending and short stop and second base. Amanda consistently prevented balls going by her and recorded outs throwing to first with pinpoint accuracy (despite some errors from her teammates). She put an exclamation point on her night defensively with an over the shoulder diving catch late in the second game. Amanda was so dominant on the night, she was confident enough to look back at the catcher to take a first pitch strike before launching the next pitch into the outfield for a double. Congrats Amanda!
