Chiefs Win in the Clutch

Vinnie B gives an "A Grade" performance

In what was one of the greatest games in recent Underdog history, the Chiefs barely squeaked by Advocare, 40-39. The last two minutes were as frantic as anyone has seen in a long time. Advocare scored with 15 seconds left on the clock to take a 39-33 lead, however QB Vince Bray, and the Chiefs were undeterred. On the first play from scrimmage, Vinnie B threw a perfect pass down the middle of the field for a 30 yard gain. The Chiefs immediately called timeout, leaving 9 seconds left. On the very next play, Bray threw a touchdown pass to tie the score with 3 seconds remaining. Then on the conversion attempt, a Calvin Johnson look-alike went up for the ball and came down with the most important point the Chiefs may score this season, giving them a one point lead. It took one more defensive play to stop a Hail Mary pass, and when it was over, both teams looked across the field at each other with respect, as they knew they had just been a part of a great football game between two very good teams.
