It takes a special effort to win two games in one day and Pipe Dreams was up to the task. Led by Ross Jarvis and Brian Grutz, Pipe Dreams was able to advance past 17 Buck in overtime, then cruise to victory in the title game over surprising MTWThFSaS.
When team captian Ted Plumis was interviewed after the game he wanted his entire team to be recognized as player of the week. So special recognition goes out to all of Pipe Dreams, the new midcore champions. Brendan Grutz gets special recognition for his standout performance in their semi-final overtime victory over a game 17 Buck team.
