This was a great night for the team Bump, Set, Oh Shit! They showed up pumped, and ready to take on the reigning champs, the Volley Llamas. Led by the awesomeness that is Katelyn Bristow, this first year team kept the champs on their toes throughout the match. Aside form being a stellar volleyball player, Katelyn exudes a love for the game that is rarely seen, and this shows most clearly in the way she encourages her teammates and fights for every play. When the night was over, smiles remained, and that is what is most important. Thanks Katelyn for your spirit, and for being such a fabulous Underdog!
Chris caught our eye with his rad dance moves before the game even started. Singing along with the music and hyping up his team, he brought energy and joy to the court as well as skill and precision to the game. Thanks for the good vibes Chris!
WOW! That word is, effectively, the only way to describe Jooyoung's big moment. Jooyoung of Bump, Set, Oh Shit exhibited excellent athleticism when he performed an accidental assist. While trying to set the ball, Jooyoung did a wicked 180° turn and the ball bounced elegantly off his head, seemingly defying the laws of physics in the process. The swift accidental rebound was suprising enough to drop the jaws of all witnesses to the scene. For stunning everyone with quick reflexes, Jooyoung is our player of the week. Congratulations!
