While at the beginning of the season Convergence Zone looked like a team thrown together as if they were the rest of the Miami Heat, as the season went along, they converged to form a championship team. Showing the poise and moxie of a team that had been together for years, Convergence Zone continued to improve and saved their best for last.
In the semi-final round, they pulled off a slight upset over Terry Tearaways, and then proved the doubters once again in the championship round, defeating The Tight Ends 28-20.
Big Time players step up in big time games. Trisha Terhar made this clearly evident by her performance in her teams 28-20 victory over the Tight Ends in the championship game. Terhar had two huge touchdown receptions and deflected 5 passes on defense, making the difference in her teams championship clinching performance.
It was a great week for Convergence Zone, as it was easy to see that the pieces are all coming together for this team as we head towards the playoffs. Leading the way in their victory in Week 6 was Trisha Terhar. Convergence Zone played their best game of the season, as Terhar caught two touchdowns and also had an interception in their 41-6 victory. Now we'll see if they can carry the momentum into the playoffs in two weeks!
