Between this week and last, I swear, we had close to 10 bowlers celebrating birthdays! Such was the case on lane 14 last night. After making short work of their 2 games, Bowlean Values took plenty of time to celebrate one of their own. Good vibes and support flow readily with this crew and it was fantastic to see that energy transition from game time to an intimate little gathering ar the back table. A cake was brought, a song was sung, and joy was shared!
Underdog is about sports but it is equally about being a social oasis- a place for not only meeting new people but also forging ties through inclusion and shared experiences - from offering a technical hand when resetting a frame to high fiving across the back return to sharing your birthday cake with your field admin (and not expecting anything in return) .
