Mattie Michalek was a superstar for PLUCKERS on Thursday. Mattie hit for the cycle, as she lead her team to a hard fought 22-14 victory over Ain't No Dumb Sheets. The win put PLUCKERS above .500 for the season and cements their spot in 3rd place with the playoffs looming in the near future.
Travis Erickson got it done on both sides of the ball on Thursday night. The pitcher for the Pluckers was a force on the mound, going the full 7 innings for the winning team. But more impressively, Travis led his team on offense as well with 3 HRs. What a performance!
Colin Hunter and the Pluckers started the season off with a bang (or three) on Thursday. Colin hit the first of 3 back to back to back home runs. The impressive feat helped carry the Pluckers to a 16-11 victory over a strong McKinstry team, setting the tone for big season.
