Ladies and gentlemen, genders of all, gather around to hear this tale of extraordinary volleyball prowess and finesse. For maybe not once in the history of histories has their been a more humble and genuine player as Sarah Kraynik. Where did she even come from? We may never know, but this season's newest addition to this team of former Indys was by no means a mistake. To start things off, let me mention that this team played FIVE great games tonight, against two great teams. In both the finals and championship matches this team never let up, and no doubt the tenacity of Sarah contributed greatly to their ability to keep fighting. The off balance hits though, so cool. Man, she ain't no fool, and hopefully will be back on the court with this team next season, and will no doubt, continue to be a force to be reckoned with. Sarah, you are awesome!
Nanhua keeps things real on the court as a skilled player and an incredible captain - always upbeat and encouraging! On top of it all, he’ll stick around to help another team out, all with a smile on his face and consistency on the court. Thanks for bringing positivity and intensity to the game every time Nanhua!
Despite Ben being the coolest, and playing after an epic bike crash (whoa), he is not this week's Player of the Week. By unanimous vote by the two teams that played at 9:30, this week's Player of the Week goes to the flying dog that graced our presence just after the 10 o'clock hour on Monday night. Was it a flying dog? We will never know. What we do know, is that a strange dog serenaded us all on Monday night, and the physics of how this dog ended up with it's head through the church window is unknown. As an ode to the event, we all took a moment of silence and allowed for 4 Non Blondes to finish out the night in the theme of our evening, "What's Going On?" Thank ya dog, and thank you teams for sharing in this strange Underdog moment.
