Gators and Team Q faced off in the championship and both teams have logged many hours on the grid-iron. Both squads have potent offenses, and stingy defenses to go along with seasons of success on the football field, but there could only be one champ. Both teams got on the board early, and set the pace that got them through the playoff bracket. It was Team Q that was able to capitalize on key defensive plays, and score after getting turnovers. They were able to get into the driver seat early with a 2 possession lead going into half-time, and controlled the lead throughout the game. With the final score ending 47 to 22, Team Q was crowned the champs of the league. Great games and great seasons to both teams!
This weeks player of the week goes to B- Lew for his outstanding play on Playoff Championship night, and the season leading up to the chipper. B-Lew racked up Flag-pro-bowl numbers throughout the season leading his team in catches, and was also the big play maker. In the Championship game B-Lew had 4 TD receptions, and helped lead his team past a great oppoent to win the league. Great game B-Lew, and awesome season!
This weeks player of the week goes to Mike R. and his contributions on key plays. Mike always came up with big plays on tough first down receptions, to go along with a lot of other big receptions. His biggest catch came on the final play of the game when he caught the game winning TD with no time on the clock and gave his squad a 4 point win. Great job Mike!
