After watching her some of her teammates get shelled in the first half of her teams double-header, Jessie Martin decided to take matters into her own hands for the second game. Her pitching in The Ruff & Tumblers 21-12 victory over the Ninja Turtles was stellar. Cy Young, Walter Johnson, and Christy Mathewsen would be proud. But you know what? Babe Ruth would be the most proud as he was known for being a great pitcher, but also a great hitter. Jessie went 4-4 in her victory with a walk, a double, three runs scored, and 4 RBIs. Congratulations to Jessie and to The Ruff & Tumblers!
Power hitting Joe Tomascheski (total major league name) was an ALL-STUD on Tuesday night! B/c of his hits, he scored most of his teams runs....and his hits weren't the normal hits, they were the ones you have to get a ladder for to get off the roof of the house 500 yards away. Awesome job, JOE!
