The Entercommies took an early lead in this game with some great fundamentals. Several times they were able to get the bases loaded with no outs with precision bunts and kicks. Then, as if planned, a kicking powerhouse like Joe H would step up and knock in a few RBI's.
On defense, they played extremely solid without any drops and some spectacular outfield play. On the infield, they made tough plays at first look easy and even got a nice double play.
Top that off with a great pitching performance and you end up with a well deserved championship. Great job Entercommies!
Catie demonstrated great focus in all aspects of her game helping lead her team to the championship.
Her precision bunts and great speed down to first led to a couple runs including a great sacrifice that brought her teammate in from third.
On defense, nothing got by Catie as she made solid catches and stops throughout the game. Just an overall great performance.
This pitcher pitched a no hitter all the way through 6 innings only giving up a kick and a run due to a fielder's error. Great Job!
With Joe on the mound kickers had no idea what type of ball was going to get pitched to them. His Nomo style release kept kickers confused on whether he was getti.ng ready to pitch the ball or talking to his teammates. He recorded 6 K's and 2 HR bombs
Eli played a crucial role in a game that went down to the wire. The Entercommies finally tied the score in the bottom of the 6th only to fall behind in the seventh before reclaiming the lead and victory.
Eli had a great all around game with a couple running catches in the outfield to go along with his 2 key home run kicks.
During close games, everyone should have themselves a Schwimmer on their team. Eli was nothing short of an All Star on Thursday. On defense, his catches were clutch and his javelin throws saved a lot of runs for the Entercommies. On O, he had a legit homer and some key RBIs. Excellent job All Star!
