Ok, so this week will be a little different. Instead of the player of the week, we are going to have the 'battle' of the week. This week's 'battle' occured between the Labrats and the Indy team.
With the Indy team down by one run in the top of the seventh, two on and two out, Rob Howard stepped to the plate. The pitch was up, slowing arcing, come down softly and BAM! The ball was gone over the left field fence. Rob smacked the ball in a straight line drive over the fence.
Now, the Labrats were under the gun. They had two outs, one on and then Bob Ulrich came to the plate. Once again, it was a perfect pitch, but WHAM! Two run home run.
Pressure was on these two players and they stepped up to the plate. For this, they deserve "Battle of the Week".
