The Dragons' playoff run was not for the faint of heart. In game 1 they got down early on, only to battle back to tie up the game late and win in walk off fashion.
The championship game was just as nerve racking. In this case though, the Dragons went up by 10 runs by the 4th inning. The High Point Hustlers would not go away quietly though. The Hustlers fought back to take the game to extra innings. After the Dragons collected themselves from losing their early lead, they put up 2 runs of their own in the top of the 8th. Now all they need was 3 outs and the title was theirs. Of course nothing would that come easy. The Hustlers managed to put 1 run across and were threatening to tie again, but the Dragons held strong for the final out and take the 1 run victory.

The Dragons run to the championship would not of been possible if not for Sean's performance in game 1 of the playoffs. His amazing defense in left field not withstanding, Sean came through in the clutch by driving in the winning run with 2 outs in the bottom of the 7th. Great game Sean!
When a team gets down early, someone needs to step up big to help the comeback. Jeff was the player that answered the call for the Dragons. His steady defense in the field helped give the offense a chance to catch up. Jeff''s hustle on the base paths put pressure on the defense. His crowning moment was leading off the 6th inning with a home run in a tied game. Great game Jeff!
