Teams were amped and energized as they rolled into Imperial Lanes on Wednesday night! The atmosphere was a little hipster, a little douche, and a lot bit Corey Hart with all of the sunglasses everywhere! But did they help or hurt the bowlers skills...?
The power of he sunglasses seemed to work for Marcus. He was the unsuspecting hero for Strikeosaurus Rex. Both Strikeosaurus Rex and Serious on the Wood were pretty neck and neck after the first game, with Strikeosaurus Rex nudging ahead for the first-game win. But the second game is when he showed off his miraculous skills. Coming into the 10th frame, the teams were almost tied, but Serious on the Wood looked like they were going to pull off the win for the second game. Then along came Marcus, who threw an incredible turkey in his 10th frame, to pull off a 509-512 win over Serious on the Wood! His team practically carried him out on their shoulders -- well, they gave him a round of high-fives -- as they celebrated their narrow victory over Serious on the Wood. Great job Marcus, and to all of our players!
