Starting out the season as a group on no names and strangers, Crosswired formed a bond and gelled throughout the season. In their 1st game, the squeaked past The Insult Masters courtesy of a late touchdown by someone who was only identified as "The Fat Man". This touchdown put Crosswired ahead for good. In game #2, the #7 seed overcame the previously undefeated Shock and Awe, taking advantage of Shock and Awe mistakes and capitalizing with TD's.
One question a coach generally asks is "Are you hurt, or are you injured?" After seeing Kelly on the field, a coach would have not needed to ask, as she definitely appeared injured. Kelly pushed through though and wouldn't let her own team take her out. The only way she could have been stopped on Saturday was if they had taken her out. She spent the whole day streaking up and down the sidelines and making amazing catches.
Sandra led the Indy team to their 1st win with a great catch that resulted in an early touchdown, as well as a couple of other receptions that kept Crosswired comfortably in the lead.
