Men's league Champs are the team Sumner City. In a game that went back and forth on the score board all day ended up 45 to 40. Sumner City had to put together a dynamite drive with under 2 minutes to take the late game lead. Come on Man got the ball, but Sumner boys were able to make the opponent use up to much time, and the clock became the 9th defender which was to much and Sumner City walked off the field league Champs. Great game to both teams and great season!
This weeks player of the week came up big in the Championship game by bringing in 5 TD's. Chris B. scored pretty much all of his teams TD's but he did not stop there he also matched his TD total with 5 INT's as well. Chris was the difference in the game with his output on both sides of the ball, and with this performance he is now an Underdog Champ!
This weeks player of the week goes to Craig B. for his 12 TD passes on the day. Craig's squad won their first close game 41 to 39 with excellent play on offense. Craig then threw 6 more TD passes in a 39 to 18 win to help his team move forward in the playoffs. Great job Craig!
This weeks honors go to the team Sumner City for their endurance in a high paced game against a great team. Sumner City was able to string great plays together with the help of the elusive QB that leads squad. Gamecocks came with a very quick high-speed defense, but Sumner successfully put 35 points in their win! Great game to 7 players of Sumner City in their great win!
