Mel didn't care that her team wasn't playing for the championship because her team won the "No tab" tournament, and she also won two prize tickets. She won two prize tickets by getting a turkey and three spares in a row. She also had five strikes in a row! Mel bowled a 188 in her first game as well. She informed me that she listens to Adele for a pre-game ritual to give her inspiration. Mel congrats on a great season, keeping doing your pre-game ritual, and best of luck to you in future leagues!
I wanted to give a shout out to the awesome lady bowlers this week and give player of the week to the highest scoring lass, but alas! we had a tie! Both Noelle from White Golders and Mei T from Mine's in the Gutter bowled a total 283! Way to go ladies! But the title can only go to one victor and a little leprechaun swayed the vote for Mei T. Way to represent. I look forward to see how these two bowlers finish out the season. See you at the championships!
Taylor Banks may not have helped bring his team to victory but he did manage to beat every other player at the bowling alley! With the top score of 165 the first round and a 131 the second Taylor wiped up the competition. Congrats on being player of the week!
